Business Analyst

Business Analyst needed for our end client.This is a 2+ years project.
Duties sinclude
* Write functional specification for various developments/enhancements as a part of the support project.
* Work closely with support team on need basis.
* Suggesting and executing configuration change as and when needed as a part of support.
* Assistance to user like how to do and others.
* Creation of Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and perform User Acceptance Testing.
* Preparation of Functional specifications, process flows for various projects.
* Checking system health in regular intervals.
* Interaction with Business users for the expected results with regard to reports.
* Explaining Functionality of the Specifications for the reports to Technical consultants and assist them to generate new reports or modify existing ones.
* Test Customized reports as per the Test plans prepared to cover all test scenarios and approve the same to be transported from Development client to Production client.
* Involve in preparing process improvement plans.
* Impart training to co-consultants and process owners.
* Map Business processes.
* Analyzes and documents relevant business processes.
* Participates and leads interviews and requirement analysis to define business requirements.
* Defines, documents and reviews functional requirements.
* Provide domain support to different projects and training.
* Support the development team to follow the architectural strategy during the development and deployment of different parts of the projects depending on the requirement of the module.
* Works with solution architects to ensure that the solution meets business requirements.
* Process and functional design activities.

Technical Architect / Java Team Lead (Multiple Positions)
Reston, VA (Contract/Temp-to-Perm/W2)
Senior level Java Architect/Team lead for a government contractor in Reston. This position is a temp-to-perm position with a possibility of perm after 6 months. This long term project is being developed using J2EE technologies. This role would require more architect and design work and less coding but a person must be very hands-on.

* 5+ years of Java development experience.
* Experience with Core Java, J2EE, EJBs, Servlets, JSPs.
* OO design and development.
* XML, Web Services, HTML, UML
* Business Objects Reporting Tool, and SQLJ using Oracle database
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent
* Java certified Programmer/Developer preferred.
Java/J2EE Architect

* Supports the development and implementation of advanced applications designed to improve operations.
* Designs, engineers and implements inter-application interfaces.
* Evaluate and recommend products that meet the tactical and strategic requirements of the Company. The recommendations must also consider how the products fit into the overall architecture and frameworks.
* Provides senior level technical leadership to ITS team members in the selection and implementation of new technology standards.
* Strong in Java/J2EE architecture (EJB, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, XML, Webservices).
* Proficient in IBM WebSphere Family, Data Modeling and Data warehousing.
* EAI experience desired.
